FAQs
When do I make a profit?
You make a profit when you hit the third tier ie taking your merch off of the Mavens of Merch website and creating your own merch store on your website. In the meantime, you do not make any money from the sale of your merch. It is a tool to get the right people on calls with you and your super fans talking about you.
What if my logo sucks?
The Inky Black design team has got your back. You dream it, they design it. The team has worked with big brands such as Bloodstock, CocaCola and Spaceships After Dark and also upcoming brands such as Doug Lawson Marketing. Design is not included in the Mavens of Merch services.
Do you ship worldwide?
Shipping is available in North America, South America, Central America, Europe, UK, Ireland, Morocco, Nigeria, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand. Free shipping is not available in all areas.
What are the design requirements?
For merch, please send us your designs as follows:
Minimum resolution of 300 dpi
Format png with transparency.
If you are getting a logo tweak or a new design made, Maven D will give you the instructions.
Can I print anything I want?
In addition to minimum design requirements, we want submitted content to be respectful of others and of the law. Keep that in mind before you send design. Content that is hateful, illegal, and that violates intellectual property rights is NOT be permitted on Mavens of Merch.
What products do the Mavens offer?
The Mavens offer Mugs, T-shirts, Hoodies, Beanies and Snapbacks. Feel free to ask for additional products from stickers to sneakers.
What does 'Free shipping' mean?
When you see Free shipping, it means the shipping is free, but it does not include VAT, custom fees or import taxes.
Can anyone use my designs?
Mavens of Merch and Inky Black Design will never use your designs for other clients. In addition, we will not be held responsible if someone else uses your designs.
Is the printing process eco-friendly?
All inks used in the process are water-based and eco-friendly. If you notice a slight new shirt scent, don't worry. It's a special solution used in the printing process. It will disappear after the first wash.
Will the colors I see on the monitor be the same printed?
When choosing the colors for your artwork, it’s important to note that they may look different on a real product than what you see on your computer monitor.
Even if you have calibrated your monitor to a specific color profile, there are various factors that influence the final appearance of colors on a printed product.
Because of this, we can’t guarantee color accuracy 100%.
We also have a great Design affiliate, Inky Black Design, if any color corrections or design help.
What's your return policy?
Any claims for misprinted/damaged/defective items direct from the Mavens of Merch must be submitted within 30 days after the product has been received. For packages lost in transit, all claims must be submitted no later than 30 days after the estimated delivery date. Claims deemed an error on our part are covered at our expense.
*Creators, please thoroughly review all mock-ups sent. This will eliminate most printing and design errors.
No returns on customized products, size exchanges or for buyers remorse. No returns on products that have been damaged by customer. An extra cost will be accrued for Wrong Address.
